CAMBODIAN SUNRISE

Floating down the Mekong River I found myself very excited by the life along the river.  Waking up early most mornings became my routine.  When I woke up before sunrise I would go on deck with my camera, meditate for a while, then watch, and photograph the sunrise.  For me sunrise is the most beautiful time of the day.  The quietness of pre-dawn allows me to gather my thoughts, calm my feelings. and gather my energy for the upcoming day.  After privately gathering myself it was time for me to photograph the sunrise and observe the dawn.  Shortly after dawn the other six people in my group started coming to the main deck to prepare for the day, breakfast, and a sailing of our boat for that day’s touring in the southern Vietnam and Cambodia.
