I am Lynn, a photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of nature. My goal for this photography session at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN was to take a beautiful picture of a unique flower. I hoped that people would look at this picture and think it’s pretty. My dream is to be able to take pictures like this all the time, even though I have challenges due to injuries.
As I began my journey I faced some struggles. My past injuries made it hard for me to move around a lot, but I refused to let that stop me from pursuing my passion. I had to be patient and wait for the crowds to go away so I could get a uniqiue photograph of the flower. As I viewed my model thoughts of an apple pie with it’s sweet smells popped up as I looked at the center of the flower. I also had to think creatively and come up with new ways to take pictures despite my limitations.
As I persisted and persevered, I was finally able to get the shot I had been hoping for. I was overjoyed and filled with a sense of accomplishment. I was happy that I was able to get a nice shot! I’m so excited to share it with you. Through this journey, I have realized that my ambition is to be a great photographer and make people happy with my images. I am proud of myself for not giving up and for following my passion despite my struggles. I will continue to work hard and improve my skills. I am excited to see where my journey as a photographer will take me next.
