LILY POND

I took this picture during the winter at the Como Conservatory in St Paul, Minnesota.  The flowers and flora are an oasis from the winter cold.  There are many flowers surrounding a lily pond.  It is always fun to visit the conservatory and see the beautiful flowers.  I like to go there all year long but especially when there is a coldness in the air.  I probably spent at least a half hour setting up the right angle forThis photograph this flower and taking sample photographs.  This is something I like about digital photography as opposed to film.  Not only do I have immediate gratification from the finished product, I get to see the not quite right photographs.  In my mind I have very little technical ability so my photographs are all nonedited, truth is I’d rather take the pictures then sit behind the computer editing the photographs.
