I was drawn by the thunderous roar to this waterfall in the center of Minnehaha Park. Unlike most waterfalls, this one is in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Loving nature I enjoy going to these waterfalls since they are within a half-hour of my apartment. At times I just view them from the observation area and take pictures, however, on this particular day I felt very strong and energized. Deciding which path to take I proceeded down the steep, precarious, and narrow steps. The feeling of gratitude and success washed over me. At the observation landing I stopped to take photographs of the beautiful waterfall. I took at least ten (10) photographs from this point. Next I had to decide whether to return to the top; or follow the remaining stairs to the river basin. My decision was to get an additional angle to photograph Minnehaha Falls. As I walked down the remaining stairs, I decided to follow the river for about twenty-five (25) yards and once again started photographing my subject. Once I finished I climbed to the top, main observation area I knew I had taken at least thirty-five (35) beautiful photographs of which this is one. As I walked to my car, across the rooted lawn I felt a glow around me, telling myself that it had been along but worthy day of accomplishment and a job well done.
